Hello I'm Katy! I have been involved with performing arts most of my life. I was inspired to start Dace and Play and the Pine Valley Studio because I strongly believe all children should have the opportunity and resources to take classes and learn. It is my goal/ mission to pass on my knowledge, as well as introduce and expose children especially from smaller towns to the arts. I am from the Imperial Valley, a theatre major, and have been a professional performer for over 17 years. Thank you for your interest in Dance and Play! I hope to sing, dance, or act with you soon!
Hello, my name is Kitzia Danaliz and I have been a dancer and cheerleader for over 10 years. I have worked as a teacher for Dance and Play for a year and I am currently a professional cheerleader at the LNBP for the Soles de Mexicali team. I also graduated from the Savapa Academy of the Visual and Performing arts.
Hello, I am Miss Cha-Cha and I teach musical theater. I have been doing musical theater for over 10 years. My passion for the arts started when I was very young. I would sing in school and church choirs, bands and I would take part in any type of entertainment from singing to dancing to acting to crafting. I just cannot get enough of it. I also love spending time with my children, and I love children and all their innocence and wonder. It brings me great joy to be part of an incredible and talented team and program that allows me to do all of what i enjoy doing.
Hi, my name is Alfonso Martinez. I have been acting for a total of 6 years. Three of those years I was acting in a theatre company and the other three years in acting and improv classes. I also enjoy Singing and dancing. I started acting at age 14 with the intention of feeling happy and expressing myself in a way that I feel comfortable with. I hope to one day have my own theatre company and change my students lives in a positive way!!!
